British Mk4B/4L Aircrew Flying Helmet

As per the Mk4A, but fitted with "Lo-Pro" visor mechanism, engineered to retract further back than usual to allow for fitting of NVGs. This would not provide any wind-blast eye protection while NVGs are in use.

Power was supplied to the NVGs by a battery pack attached to the helmet rear using Velcro.

Standard NATO plug pigtail fitted.
