The A-13A/1 was fitted with a strap suspension harness, Type-59 microphone and UK MC-3A ("warning") oxygen hose connector.
The strap suspension harness of the A-13A/1 mask only required 2 pop studs per side of the helmet, so was compatible with both F-Type and G-Type, plus previous cloth and leather helmets.
