Bendix Aircraft Engine Magneto Ignition Switch
Type G
Part No: 10 357290-1
Includes correct original Bendix key:
Includes panel lock nuts, and wiring terminal nuts:
The internal contacts have been cleaned during the refurbishment, it is tested and works correctly as expected.
As this is seller refurbished I cannot declare it flight worthy without independent inspection and test by authorised person, but would be perfect for a light aero flight simulator project as it is.
The switch has 4 positions, going clockwise:
1 - OFF - key is removable, L and R both grounded
2 - R - key locked in, only L is grounded
3 - L - key locked in, only R is grounded
4 - BOTH - key locked in, both L and R are open circuit
The aircraft magnetos are disabled by the switch grounding the wires to them, which is fail-safe in case a wire was to fail, open circuit means the magneto will continue to work.
Asking £15 plus postage. Please PM for details.
Cheers, Scott.
