Always something to buy or photograph at Shoreham, now much-missed as the organiser makes a living as a full-time editor so its good to go back and see some some of the gems recorded over the years offered.
The Hunter panel went for £500 as I recall, the French control column ass. and grip was Steve Milthorpes, I think it was £175 all-in but he could never sell it as a lump for some reason and I think he sold the grip separately in the end. Its strange seeing these pics to realise that its some time ago now as it seems like yesterday as the saying goes, and a nice browse for people into heritage and seeing everything else related to aviation other than just kit.
I think the Hunter column was just over £100, I sold it on to Kai Chjoi for his Hunter at Brooklands, should have kept it really but hopefully it did him a turn. The 2 columns are black and grey-finished items for early and late Jet Provost.
The event was always the last Saturday in March and September.
