EE LIGHTNING XS899 RAF Coltishall 18.09.05
Some useful ref shots of the above at what I think was the closing weekend of the base before it cesaed operation, a sad time. As restored by the Coltishall Cockpit Collection. I think all the cockpits are at Norwich Aviation Museum now.

I was at Cranfield when this one was scrapped, helped to remove the engines before it got cut up.
I think we had the panel covering the fuse box for a few years in our gagarge too, I passed it on to Mick Jennings, for which he was grateful , but he had had the airframe apprentices make a new one anyway!
