The Mk3 High Pressure PEC only used for Jaguar Aircraft.

A "high Pressure Type" PEC for low altitude, it provides connections for: breathing oxygen, anti-G trousers, and communications.

The High Pressure hose delivers oxygen to a miniature chest mounted pressure regulator Type 417A, to which a V2-Type or X2-Type oxygen mask is connected.

Instead of the PEC Seat Portion being responsible for disconnecting the PEC Man Portion, a new method is employed, whereby the lanyard from the leaver is pulled on by life preserver when the occupant separates form the seat.

Part number MBEU/42185, one digit on from the number documented below, however, the main differnece I can see is the LEMO communications connector, vs the NATO socket 626-Type on the MBEU/42184.

Quote:

The hose assembly, high pressure Mk 3 is designed for use by the ejection seat occupants of Jaguar aircraft. It is similar to the Mk 2 assembly but it has a lanyard permanently attached to the man portion operating handle and has no gaiter. The lanyard contains a loop on the free end through which is passed the strap on the life preserver before the strap is connected to the personal survival pack lowering line.
